The Malta Business Problem No One Talks About

Was helping a client in Malta last week and something wild came up.

Guy runs a restaurant in Valletta. Decent spot. Good food. Nice location.

Asked him how people find his place.

"Word of mouth mostly. Some tourists stumble in. That's about it."

So I pulled up Google on my phone and searched for his exact type of restaurant in Valletta.

He wasn't even on the first page.

Not even close.

His competitor down the street? Ranking #2. Getting calls all day long.

Here's the thing about Malta that makes this even crazier:

The entire country is 316 square kilometers.

You can drive from one end to the other in like 45 minutes. The whole place is basically one giant local market.

Which means if you're NOT showing up on Google in Malta? You're leaving money on the table. A LOT of money.

Because there's tourists Googling "restaurant near me" every single minute of every single day. There's locals searching for plumbers, lawyers, mechanics, contractors, you name it.

And if you're not showing up? Someone else is getting that call instead of you.

I see this all the time with Maltese businesses. They think: "ah, Malta is small, everyone knows everyone, I don't need Google."

Wrong.

Dead wrong.

Your competitors are on Google.

The tourists are on Google.

The locals who just moved here are on Google.

If you're not there? You're invisible.

The good news is that ranking in Malta is actually EASIER than most places.

Less competition. Smaller market. More straightforward.

You just need to actually do it instead of hoping people will magically find you.

Talk soon, Igor

P.S. If you're running a local business in Malta and you're not ranking on Google, we should talk. Because this is the easiest win you'll ever get in your business. Seriously.
