Where it started
Serbia, rugby, and a one-way ticket.
Serbia. 2016. I packed a bag and moved to Malta.
Why? Honestly? The sun. And the pace of life. People here actually stop for a coffee. (Try that in Belgrade traffic.)
Back home, my life was rugby. Started as a kid. Played for years. At 20 I was coaching the younger squad.
Then in 2011 a few of us founded a new rugby league club in Zemun, Belgrade. Rugby League Club Zemun (RLK / RLC Zemun). We played under the Dragon Zemun name at first, it came from the older team, then changed it on paper to compete.
I was there on day one. And I stayed to build it.
At 23 I was running the club. Director of a team where half the players were older than me. Youth academy, sponsors, fixtures, paperwork, all of it. Until 2016.
You learn fast in that chair. How to get people to show up when it's raining. How to find sponsors when nobody has money. How to keep going after you lose 40 to nil.
Nobody cares how good you looked in training. Only the score counts.
That stuck with me. It's still how I work.
Why I started IB Results
I saw how bad some agencies were. So I did it myself.
In Malta I had normal jobs. And I kept seeing the same thing.
Business owners paying agencies good money. And getting... PDFs. Graphs. "Impressions." Excuses.
The phone wasn't ringing. The agency was still invoicing.
I remember thinking: this is bad. Like, really bad. Somebody should do this properly.
So I learned marketing. Properly. Tried it. Tested it. Broke things. Fixed them.
And it clicked. I got it.
The first client
"Bro, business has to have rough days."
My first client was a guy back in Serbia. I worked for free. I had to prove it to myself first.
We ran ads. And for weeks? Nothing. Money going out, nothing coming in.
I was ready to quit. Told him so.
He laughed. "Bro, even if you burn my money, business has to have rough days. Otherwise it's not fun."
One month later we nailed it. He got about 2X back on everything he'd put in.
I still think about that call. Most people quit right before it works. He didn't let me.
How I work
Four rules. No exceptions.
I don't cheat.
No fake reviews. No spammy tricks. No "black hat" shortcuts that get you banned in 6 months. Cheaters always cut corners somewhere else too.
I don't take jobs I can't win.
If I don't believe I can make your business a LOT better than it is now, I'll tell you on the free video. And I won't take your money.
I don't lock you in.
Monthly. If I'm not worth it, you leave. That keeps me sharp.
You always get me.
Not a junior. Not a call centre. My number is on every page of this site.
Outside work
Gym, chess, and playing everything to win.
The gym is my happy place. Phone in the locker, one hour, nobody needs anything from me.
Chess is the other one. Same as marketing really: think three moves ahead, don't panic when you lose a piece.
And whatever it is, cards, football, chess, a board game with friends, I play to win. (Ask anyone who's played against me. They'll confirm. Grudgingly.)
